This Privacy Policy governs the privacy terms of the mobile application Codi ("Application"), created and developed by Quy Nguyen ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our").

We highly value your privacy and are committed to protecting any data associated with your usage of the Application. Please read this document carefully to understand how information is handled within the Application to meet the strict standards required for the Apple App Store.

1. Personal Data Collection

The Application is designed as a private diary space for users. We respect your personal privacy; therefore:

• No Personal Identification Collection: The Application does not actively collect, store, or harvest personal identifiable information (PII) such as your legal name, physical address, financial details, or contact lists.
• Local and Cloud Data: Content created within the app (such as diary entries or text logs) is processed solely to provide the application's core functionality and is handled securely through backend cloud integration infrastructure.

2. Third-Party Analytics Services

To continuously improve the performance, stability, and user experience of the Application, we utilize third-party analytics services.

Specifically, the Application uses Firebase Analytics (a service provided by Google Inc.). Firebase Analytics may collect certain non-personally identifiable technical details automatically, including but not limited to:

• Device information (e.g., device model, operating system version).
• App usage statistics (e.g., session duration, screen views, feature interactions).
• Anonymized crash logs and system performance indicators.

This data is aggregated and used strictly for analytical purposes to optimize app functionality and troubleshoot technical errors. It cannot be used to trace or identify individual users.

3. Data Retention and Account Deletion

In full compliance with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines regarding user control over data:

Right to Delete: Users retain complete ownership over their account data. If you wish to delete your account or any personal logs permanently from our systems, you can easily initiate the deletion process directly through the account/profile settings panel within the Application.
